7. One Page or Two?

How many pages should your resume be? It might seem like a simple question, but when it might make the difference between getting the job or no, it’s an important one to consider. Whatever you decide, do not have more than a three-page resume.  Simply put, the prospective employer or recruiter will not want to read it.  If you’re a student or a recent graduate, and you have less than 5 years’ work experience, one page should probably suffice.  If you are an experienced professional, who has been in the field for several years, two pages are more than acceptable.
